Art in Chelsea Galleries during October 2008

Last Saturday I had a chance to get over and check out the art in the Chelsea galleries. I don’t have much time to write in any depth about my impressions or the work, but I will at least post some of the images in a photo gallery.
For me some of the standout work was… Cecily Brown’s paintings at Gagosian Gallery, Lee Ufan, Gary Simmons, Diana al Hadid’s “Reverse Collider”, Mark Wagner’s collages of cut up currency, Oliver Blackart @ PPOW (the old woman manaquin has a sign that says “Critic”), Dave Anderson & Joshua Lutz photographs @ Clampart, and Allison Schulnik, and Raphael Dallaporta images of anti-personal weapons at Silverstein photography.
