Images from Brad’s solo show in Munich
Feb 2nd, 2008 by Brad
My solo show opened at Galerie Maurer (Munich, Germany) this weekend it will run until 8-March. The gallery owner, Wolfgang Maurer, is showing 18 of my 30″x40″ images. Several of the images are shown as face-mounted plexi, while others are hung as raw prints which heighten the study of change and impermance, I like this combination. I want to thank Wolfgang for being so great to work with in creating this show. This blog shows some images from the show.
This show came about after Wolfgang saw my work at the photographers:network show (Siegen Germany). photographers:network was curated by Diana Edkins (Aperture Foundation, NYC), Thomas Gerwers (PROFIFOTO, Germany), Nicole Stanner (Galerie f 5.6, Munich), and Burkhard Arnold (in focus, Cologne).
Galerie Maurer specializes in contemporary photography and 20th century design objects. I really love those wonderful chair designs in the gallery now. Wolfgang Maurer represents contemporary photographers such as Bruce Davidson, Jan Saudek, Thomas Kellner, and Anna Schudel.

Congratulations Brad. The art looks great. That water tower shot reminds of the one in Oxford. Maybe you can turn your camera on the “Hub of the Universe” some day? Might make for a nice “roots” series.
Hey, thanks Rich. For those of you that don’t know, My Dad and Rich both grew up in/near Boswell Indiana (population now 800).
My Dad was born and raised in the “Hub of the Universe!” The nickname of Boswell is “Hub of the Universe”.
