I hope you had a great summer and also found some time to relax. I've been
busy showing work and creating new works. Here is an update:
Solo Show: Galerie Maurer, Munich, Germany, Feb-Mar'08
Collectors bought half of my show of eighteen 30"x40" (75x100cm) images.
Due to a collector's request, I'm now offering larger images 40x64"
(100x160cm) within the edition of 15.
Upcoming Group Show: Contemporary Photography Invitational, Flanders Art Gallery, Raleigh, NC, Feb'09
Current Group Show: Shelter, 23 Sandy Gallery, Juror Randy Gragg (editor of Portland Spaces), Portland, OR, Nov'08
Current Group Show: Grand Central, Portland, OR, Nov'08
Award: Fine Art Buildings, International Photography Awards, IPA, NYC '08
Award: Fine Art Interiors, International Photography Awards, IPA, NYC '08
This 2nd award is for an image from my new series Tempus Incognitus
PhotoMedia magazine (summer ed, circulation 40,000) covered my Munich Solo show as lead in their 'People' section.
To see a special newsletter-only preview of "Tempus Incognitus":
The well-known International collector Joaquim Paiva (Rio de Janeiro)
acquired two Passage Perception images at FotoFest 2008.
I am now offering 40"x64" images within my edition of 15
I now uses a fantastic new archival method
that infuses images onto the aluminum surface. This archival process
is extremely durable and provides even better color reproduction.
Each week I blog on art, photography, gallery openings in Portland and
New York. http://www.bradcarlile.com/blog/
I split my time between residences in Portland Oregon and the
East Village in Manhattan (NYC).
