Here's a good film about how filming from the public, in public spaces, can actually be a good thing, in Northern Ireland of all places. 'Policing the Public Gaze', http://www.worldbytes.org/programmes/013/013_004.html

Brad, just recently I found an interesting connection between Eadweard Muybridge and Albert Bierstadt. They were both in Yosemite at the same time - Bierstadt painting and Muybridge taking photographs. Years later Warrington Colescott (Robert Colescott's older brother) painted a watercolor of the two of them there. It's worth a look at Fifty Two Pieces. There are also some links to the controversy between the Paiutes and the NPS too.

Hi Brad,

I'm volunteering with Disjecta Contemporary Arts Center to streamline the press release process. I have a few questions for you about your preferences:

1. What format do you prefer to receive the press release (pdf, word, textedit, etc)?

2. Do you prefer the images to be attached to an email or within the text document?

3. What it the preferred length of the press release?

4. Do you have any other suggestions for us?

Thank you!

pffft, couldn't agree with him more. most of the stuff he's railing against is an exercise in narcissism, and i hope we get through this lousy Saatchi-bloated chapter and get back to something with some real blood in it.

Thanks Eva, yes it's nice when people resonate with one's work.

Right now I'm most excited about some of my new work. When I get some more time, I'll have to scan the new images and get them to my website. Cheers!
